Web gadgets VS web Widgets

What is web gadgets?A gadget is a small technological object(such as a device or an appliance) that has a particular function, Gadgets are invariably considered to be more unusually or cleverly designed than normal technological objects at the time of their invention.

Gadgets might come in handy when you're at work (to-do list, currency converter, calendar), at school (calculator, Wikipedia, translation tool), or just passing time (news, blogs, games). You can add gadgets you like to iGoogle and, if you have Google Desktop installed, you can also add gadgets to your computer's desktop.

For Web Widgets, In computing a web widget is a software widget for the web. It's a small application that can be installed and executed within a web page by an end user. They are derived from the idea of code reuse. Other terms used to describe web widgets include: gadget, badge, module, webjit, capsule, snippet, mini and flake. Widgets are typically created in DHTML, JavaScript, or Adobe Flash.
Widgets often take the form of on-screen tools (clocks, event countdowns, auction-tickers, stock market tickers, flight arrival information, daily weather etc.).

In a conclusion, Web gadgets and web Widgets have their own Useful and can enhance our websites or blog.

Blog F0R Mon3y!!!

If you maintain your own blog hosted on Google’s free blogging service dubbed Blogger, you will be delighted that the search giant has finally paired its AdSense advertising engine with the blogging service. Although Google started rolling out AdSense on Blogger last week, it took some time for the new advertising feature to propagate through the Blogger engine. It appears that new monetizing options are now available in all user accounts on Blogger.

Enabled through the new Monetize tab found in your blog or the main Dashboard, the feature lets you apply for a new AdSense account or simply pair your Blogger blog to an existing AdSense account. You can also choose to place ads on several predetermined positions in your blog determined by a chosen template. Thanks to the AdSense API, the Monetize feature also shows you ad revenue in real time, right inside the Blogger web interface.
Google warned users that “new applications may take a few days to process.” The search monster also said that not every site will be approved, advising bloggers to check if they are eligible for an AdSense account. While the long overdue addition of Google’s money-making ad engine arrives in times of freezing economy, don’t expect that your blog will pull you out of financial troubles. Typically, you need 100,000 page views monthly to earn anywhere between $100 and $500 on ad revenue – at best. As you can imagine, the search monster milks a significant portion of advertising money that flows through the service.
The Google Adsense let user have a chance to earn money by the few process.Bloger also can use for commercial purpose.

What Is Joomla??
Joomla is an award-winning content management system (CMS), which enables you to build Web sites and powerful online applications. Many aspects, including its ease-of-use and extensibility, have made Joomla the most popular Web site software available. Best of all, Joomla is an open source solution that is freely available to everyone.
What's a content management system (CMS)??

A content management system is software that keeps track of every piece of content on your Web site, much like your local public library keeps track of books and stores them. Content can be simple text, photos, music, video, documents, or just about anything you can think of. A major advantage of using a CMS is that it requires almost no technical skill or knowledge to manage. Since the CMS manages all your content, you don't have to.

What are some real world examples of what Joomla! can do?

Joomla is used all over the world to power Web sites of all shapes and sizes. For example:

•Corporate Web sites or portals

•Corporate intranets and extranets

•Online magazines, newspapers, and publications

•E-commerce and online reservations

•Government applications

•Small business Web sites

•Non-profit and organizational Web sites

•Community-based portals

•School and church Web sites

•Personal or family homepages
